Charlie Black (she/her) is a visual artist from the U.K., working predominantly with moving image. Her practice focuses on the ecology of lived spaces, documenting the complex relationships between humans and the rest of nature that manifest in our daily lives. Using both research and imagination, her work values emotionally driven documentary, blurring the boundaries between subjective and objective truths. To her, the medium is as important as the subject, and she embraces the material quality of moving image by working with both analogue and digital materials.
